I remember having my English teacher as my favourite teacher in the world when I was in primary school. We had a pretty good relationship back then. I remember vividly who unleashed my passion for writing.
We had that relationship because I had more than a hundred books hidden in my bedroom confiscated by her and because she caught me reading while she was teaching! Sometimes, she could be funny but when we did not do something well she became strict. However, she does not have any children, so she treats us like her own.
One day she asked us all to write about an exciting day we had on the way to school which most of us did not have! I was having a particularly bad day at that time but managed to turn out a piece of composition for her using my imagination. Thinking back about it, I wrote that piece a little differently that day. It was because I was in a good mood and I used everything she taught me.
She was like an inspiration to me, before my writing ability was not as good as I am now, so she taught me how to write properly and told me to read more English books, that is why she is my most favourite teacher in the world.
A good teacher should teach her students how to be sincere. If she does this, then she is a good teacher. And also, she often gave us some good advice on how to get well with each other, and taught us to keep the rules and so on. That was very important for us students throughout our lives. We may get much or less than we need from the book, just because of a good teacher.
I had a lot of teachers in my primary school. They gave me much help in my studies. I loved them all but my favourite teacher, I think she was my English teacher Miss Lee.
She is kind and friendly. In my eyes she is the most beautiful teacher in the world and I loved her sweet smiles. I always felt relaxed in her lessons because she has a lot of teaching experience. She often told us interesting stories and taught us reading too. And she always listened to me carefully with a smile on her face. And she worked hard and knew many things.
We often chatted and played games with her. We often had a good time. So I think Miss Lee is my favourite teacher.
My favourite teacher is Miss Heidi Wong. She was my maths teacher. I like her because she taught me very seriously and amusingly. She had big eyes, long hair and she wore many earrings and expensive jewellery. I think she was a rich woman. She had an interesting hobby. She liked diving in the sea and drawing. And, she always says ‘work hard and try your best.’ She taught me in a fun way, so I think maths is not boring to us.
When I was young, I thought maths was quite difficult and troublesome but Miss Wong taught me how to enjoy maths and now I think maths is easier than before. She taught me ‘if you work hard, you must have good results.’ So I try hard now to improve my maths.
Miss Wong also likes the singer Lady Gaga too. When we had time, we talked about Lady Gaga and her songs and videos but we both agreed her clothes are too sexy and too silly. We think she is also a great and wonderful artist. I think I enjoyed the lesson most because I can learn many things about maths and talked about things that interested us. So I liked Miss Wong to teach me maths.
Finally, I want to say thank you to her because she made me like and enjoy maths.
