A man was walking through the street wearing a pink polka-dotted tie with purple stains splattered on it.  He had red eyes and a bold head with numerous wrinkles on his forehead.  There was barely any grey hair left on his head except for his bushy mustache.  He was wearing an ugly suit that's almost in tatters and his shoes looked like they're about to fall off anytime soon.

Once upon a time, there is a person who is called Mr. Don't Know.  He doesn't know anything since he was a child.  He is a funny man but silly and strange.  If you want to ask him if he would like to join you for dinner, you should say “Don't you  know I've invited you to dinner tonight?”  So, that is Mr. Don't Know.  The first time his friends met him and asked where he came from, he just answers  “I don't know.”  What a silly man!

In the meantime, a small, little boy was walking with his mother back home.  He was just like any other old boy, but there was something different about him, and that was his curiosity.  The moment that the little boy saw him, he knew in his tiny, little brain that he must go to that man.  He quietly slipped away from his mother while she was not looking, and tiptoed away from her.

Soon the boy caught up with that man and asked a question; why do you dress like this, old man?  “The reply was ‘I don't know’.”  The boy tried again, “Why do you dress like that?  My mother told me that we shouldn't dress like that…?”  Once again, the reply came as “I don't know.”

“One more question,” the little boy thought, and he asked once more.  “Is there anything you do know about?”  The answer came, but once again, the answer was “I don't know.”

Not wanting to give up, the boy kept asking the man.  And so the so-called conversation went on and on until the littleboy was so bored that he actually wished that her mother was there, yelling at him.  Eventually, the sun was setting and the only words that the man said were “I don't know.”  It was like a silent battle between I don't know and words.  Moments later, the little boy’s mother was worried and was looking for him all over.  Before the little boy was called home however, before the little boy went, he said “From now on, I’m going to call you Mr. Don't know, ok?”  The reply was “I don't know.”  From that moment on, the man was always called Mr. don't know, all because of the little boy.

And then, more silly things happened.  Every morning, he says “I don't know” except for "good morning."

He is very nice although he doesn't know anything.  Oh!  Mr. Don't know, what else do you know?

I think my friend Michael is Mr. Don't Know.  Why I think he is Mr Don't Know.  He is very interesting and funny.  When I ask him some questions, he said to me “I don't know.”  But I never get angry because he is my friend, my good friend.  Oh! I forget to introduce him.  Let me introduce him now.

Michael is a tall boy with black hair.  He is 14 years old.  He is very handsome.  He likes eating ice-cream.  But he never gets fat.  Many girls like him.  But many boys hate him.

Sometimes, when I have lunch with him, I asked him, “what do you like to eat?”  he always said, “I don't know.”  So he has the same food as me.

Sometimes, when he asks me questions, I said, “what's the matter?”  he said, “I don't know.”  It is funny.

He is so stupid but he is very generous.  He always shares his food with us.  So we like him.

Sometimes, after school, I asked him “where do you live?”  He said, “I don't know.”

Many people think Mr. Don't Know is a fool.  But I don't think so.  I think he is a good boy.  And he is always my friend.

When he's hurt, and I can't believe what they've done.  If he needs someone to talk to, I’ll be the one.  If he is lovely, I'll talk to him.
